For Patients
Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here.
New Patients: We can’t wait to meet you and your pet! Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment and bring:
- Your completed medical release form (this will be emailed to you)
- Adoption records, if applicable
- Full vaccine and medical history, if applicable
- A fecal sample to test for internal parasites
- Any questions or concerns you’d like addressed at this first appointment
New and returning patients are reminded to please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so we can get you checked in. Depending on the type of treatment required, you can expect to be at the clinic for as little as 30 minutes (routine exam) up to two hours (surgery).
Cancellation Policy: The Comer Vet team understands life happens! Should you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. If a last-minute cancellation is needed, then a call the morning of the appointment is adequate. Please note, if you do not call to cancel an appointment, a no-show fee will be applied to your account.
Emergencies: If you are able to do so, please call ahead of time when coming in for an emergency appointment. We are always available to help in a daytime urgent or emergency situation. These cases are worked in-between regularly scheduled appointments and require more time for the customer and the veterinary staff. The wait time may be longer, but we will have the pet assessed at time of arrival in the treatment area with an available vet and vet assistant.
